Kolor jasno żółty, złoty, klarowny. Piana biała, drobno pęcherzykowa, niesamowicie wysoka i trwała, jak na ten typ piwa. Delikatnie "maluje" na szkle.
Aromat silnie owocowy, dziki, funky, kwaśny, są tu nuty trawiaste, jest mokre drewno, zapachy wsi. Aromat jest przyjemnie orzeźwiający.
Smak intensywnie kwaśny, z niewielką słodyczą w tle i mocniejszą, pestkową goryczką. Goryczka wydaje się być sucha, lekko szorstka.
Wysycenie średnie w górę. Tekstura niemal gładka. Ciało średnie. Posmak długi kwaśny i goryczkowy. Z czasem, kwaśność słabnie kosztem pestkowej goryczki.

Drunk on June 19th while cooking homemade gyoza. Golden, clear, small head. Light stone fruit nose, mild lemony acidity. Funky flavor with more present tartness than the nose. Smooth and tasty, lightly bretty, some oaky notes. Excellent, dry and refreshing.

Clear orange, thin, white head. Aroma of orange flesh, overripe apricot & plum, wet straw, wood, leather, grass, cheese rind, jute bag, green apple. Taste has sour orange, apricot & gooseberry against a sourdough malt backbone; funky leather & straw notes connecting well with a lemon acidity. Tart citrus, dry oak tannins, funky hay and grassy hops in the finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Quite lean, smooth, somewhat 'unfinished' indeed but perfectly accessible and acceptable at that.

375mL bottle at Mikkeller at Morebeer, pours a clear pale copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out nice lemony funk, gentle leather, and a touch of sweaty horse blanket. Flavour is sharp, with lots of lemon tang, sharp acidity, aggressive champagne-like effervescence, and gentle funk. Finishes sweaty, vibrant in carbonation, lemony and moderately acidic. Not a top-tier gueuze by any means, but it's well-constructed. I like the aggressive carb. Very good.

0.375 l bottle from 'Het Huis van de Geuze', bottled in February 2021. Almost clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sourish, rather funky, gently fruity aroma of horse blanket, nettles, hay, overripe lemon and light honey. Quite sour, gently fruity, rather funky taste of overripe lemon, oak, horse blanket, gooseberry, peach and some white grapes, followed by a medium long, gently tart, rather woody-dry finish. Medium body, gently astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Geuze, nicely balanced, rather funky than fruity.
