Pours clear deep amber with a small lingering tan head. It smells of cherries, oak, and caramel malt. The flavor is very sweet with oak, cherries, toffee, and piney hops. It’s still mainly sweet but some hops bitterness hits in the finish. Full bodied. Complex. Very enjoyable.

Bottle pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! It's a murky dark amber (particulates held in suspension) with ring of beige head. Aroma is toasted malt, caramel, oak, hint of tart fruit. Taste is strong sweet malt, toasted European malt. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, malt all the way with contributions of wood. Decent enough.

650 ml bottle 2018 vintage. Thanks to Clark on the share. A almost clear copper color. Aroma of toasted grain, oak, English toffee. Flavor is a reflection. Lighter bodied. Decent for the age.

Bottled 4/23/18, drunk 4/22/23. Deep amber, small, beige head to ring Amber malts, big caramel but good attenuation with vanilla, bread, soft malts. Soft, malty, crunchy. I guess its oaky. Soft, malty, dry. Not alcohol.
