500ml bottle delivered from the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light greenish gold, clear, with an uneven collection of white head on top. Aroma of fresh pineapple, white grapefruit, grass, hay. Sweet taste with punchy citrus hops leading to light bitterness in the finish. Light body, heavy carbonation. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. 3.7%. Colour of straw. Light haze. Frothy and clingy, white head. Nose has bubblegum. Blackcurrant chews. Some tinned pineapple. Clean, dry malt. Taste is crisp, clean, dry and bitter. Light body. Fairly drying. Soft carbonation. Dry and light bitter finish. Usual high standard from Ashover.

At the GBBF. Made with Mosaic hops and listed as a session pale ale, a deep clear honey gold with a floral hoppy aroma on a med-full body with that creamy cask mouthfeel that is so satisfying. The taste is chalky pine & fruity hops. Overall a solid IPA.
