Can from Beer52. Dark brown with a beige head that swiftly vanishes.smells of fake chocolate syrup with a little detergent. Taste of fake chocolate syrup and praline. Very sweet. It's not great, but it did go surprisingly well with a millionaire's shortbread flavoured Magnum.

330ml can via Beer 52. Pours opaque deep brown towards black with a tan cap. Aroma: big hazelnut & chocolate, coffee hints too. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter, more chocolate and hazelnut but no real depth of flavour. Thin to medium body with with low carbonation. Smells great, tastes very average, lacks carbonation too

Can from Beer 52. Lots of nutty aromas in the nose, together with vanilla and some coffee. Pours a dark reddish brown with a very transient beige head. Lots of nuts again in the mouth, along with dark fruits, coffee and traces of milk. Finish is sweet with some fruitiness. Lots of flavours, but itโs a bit watery and lacking in stout character.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A deep chestnut brown pour with a fast fading beige head; aroma of chocolate syrup; hazelnut taste, but extremely sweet with more chocolate syrup, enough to make my teeth ache; then a drier earthy finish. Way too sweet for me.

330ml can, via Beer52: BBE Dec 2021. Poured into a thistle shaped 'Gordon Finest Gold' glass at home on 29th Jan 2021. Very dark brown in colour, fast fading tanned top. Strong chocolate and hazelnut nose, taste also full of chocolate and hazelnut flavours. Would have liked a deeper/smoother/richer body to be honest, it comes across as a bit 'thin' for the depth of flavour it possesses. I am on a mini-diet/health kick, but a bar of Hazelnut Chocolate with this would have been lovely! Liked it, even if my write up doesn't reflect that, the scores will.

Opaque brown/black beer, bubbly head soon fizzles out. Rich smell of nutty chocolate. Flavour is distinctly praline. Chocolate, hazelnuts,a little vanilla and toasty malt. Decent body to it and nicely balanced.
