Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout blended with bourbon barrel-aged sour stout with marshmallow, cacao, graham cracker, and vanilla
S’more BBLs is the next up in the BBLs lineage. This member-exclusive beer is one of the world’s highest ABV sour beers; and was conceptualized as a Bruery Terreux homage to our tradition of brewing high gravity, barrel-aged stouts. This big, viscous sour beer is a carefully crafted blend of Tart of Darkness & Black Tuesday, aged with marshmallow, graham crackers, cacao nib, and vanilla. Inspired by the the flavors of the gooey, decadent campfire dessert with which it shares its name. One sip will have you asking for… s’more.

Growler from Ace&Kees sampled in the train home (no way I’m drinking more than a sample). Almost black with small dark brown head. Chocolate, sour berries, strawberries, honey, booze, goji berries, bourbon, brown sugar, roasted malts. Quite sweet, medium sour and under medium bitter. Full bodied. It’s quite OK, but I just don’t need those very high abv beers in my life.

Underwhelming, lots of red Berry, chocolate, lactose, a good coffee raspberry martini, but not getting much of the barrel. Lots of alcohol

Fat på MBCC 2019, grön session. Mörk brunsvart med beige krona. S'mores, massor av vanilj, kex, fikon, torkad frukt, väldigt likörig, kakao. Mer strong ale än sour stout. Mycket gott.
