Bottle from Waitrose. Clear golden/amber body with a thin off-white head that fades. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of earth and caramel. Flavour of weak tea and earth. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Dull and inoffensive.

Bottle at the inlaws, thanks to Roger, 29/04/18. Rich copper pour with a decent light beige head. Nose is caramel, dried fruits, biscuit, sweet malts, brown sugar. Taste comprises fruit slice, biscuit malts, brown bread, toffee, mellow spice, stewed fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter edge. Decent enough ESB.
