Back beer, light tan head. Smells malty, a little spicy. Flavour has cinnamon, clove, a little tea, vanilla, cream. A really nice balance and a good twist on a milk stout. Decent body to it, and a nice warming, sweet finish.

Can from Beer52. Mahogany-black with a tan head. Quite fizzy. Big kick of spice up front (cinnamon and clove), then cola and vanilla. It's like a spiced coke float. It's sweetish but (unlike many of its ilk) not too sweet or sticky. There's a little chocolate too and a touch of dry powder in the spicy finish. Pretty good for a novelty beer.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a ring of tan head; the aroma is milky with some caramel and a trace of spice; rather thin and milky in the mouth with a lightly spiced chai taste; and no real finish. Odd.

Can from Beer 52 – very lively when opened ! Has a strong aroma of vanilla and milk with hints of spices. Pours a very dark burgundy with a vigorous but transient beige head. Quite curious in the mouth, starts off as milky chocolate before ginger and other spices hit the taste buds. Just when you’re expecting more spices though, the milky chocolate returns. But the finish is more ginger than anything else. A bit strange, but rather nice.

Tightly foamed light brown head stayed on a mahogany coloured still body. Coffee & malt aroma. Medium bodied, tingly on the tongue leaving an effervescent back. Malt, cardamom, herbal, lactose & ginger tastes with a sweet lactose finish. Unusual but tasty

330ml can from Beer52: BB 26th Nov 2021. Poured into a thistle shaped glass (Gordon Finest Gold badged) at home on 24th Jan 2021. Black/dark brown bodied, tanned topping. Malty, lactose, vanilla and spicy notes in the nose and taste of this 'milky' Stout. Interesting and different.
