Mango Cream Ale
A 1000 years have passed of traders in Borough Market and the stories and legends are many. Fruit traders would often ferment fruit under their stalls to create a pretty potent brew which sent them a tad loopy. Hence the name Fruit Loop.
A crisp American Cream Ale using Ale and Larger Yeast dry hopped using Mosaic and infused with 100kg of fresh Mangos post fermentation. A base of Oats, Extra Pale and Cara Gold gives a big mouth feel on this fresh little number.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from that Express offie on Mare Street. Vague mango in the nose, citrus peel, dried pale malts. Light sweet flavour with some husky grains, more citric notes, orange rind, dirty straw, some further vague fruits. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a spot of citric gang, more bitter rind, pale grains. So so.

33cl wide-mouth can from Beer52.com. A hazy orange juice coloured pour with a billowing, but fast-fading, cream head; ripe mango aroma with some spicy grains; quite dry in the mouth with some mango and rye grain; then slightly bitter with a dry finish that is surprisingly lacking in fruit. Rather odd, seems to be a blend of fruit juice and beer, rather than a beer brewed with fruit from the start.

Keg at the brewery taproom. It pours cloud golden - orange with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, mellow, juicy, mango smoothie, apricot and bread. The taste is smooth, creamy, juicy, mango smoothie, bread, apricot, touch of fruity acidity and citrus peel with a soft, fruity finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Soft, fruity and well rounded. Nice stuff.

Keg at Beer and Burger, Willesden Green, London, Friday 7th April 2017 Pours the colour of orange juice, with barely a head to speak of. Slight tropical hints on the nose. A little bit thin but it’s refreshing and pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Keg at the Eebria tap room. A MILKY orange coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is dish soap, mango, little dank, plastic hockey puck. Flavour is composed of harsh grainy hockey puck, spicy citrus, soapy. Palate is raw grains, highish carbonation. Too plastic.
