Bottle at home, 09/11/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is yeast, clove, grass, lemon squeeze, banana peel. Taste comprises banana bread, caramel, sweet malt base, clove, yeast esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style if a touch sweet.

(Bottle) Cloudy muddy brown with short-lived white head. Aroma of under-ripe bananas and peppery notes. Light body, and find carbonation. Taste is bananas, hints of gloves and yoghurt. Very drinkable.

50cl bottle from my local Co-op, Bracknell. A rather good Hefeweizen, pouring exactly as it should with a slightly cloudy body and a peaky cream head; aroma of banana and yeast; sweet banana taste with a touch of cloves; and then a slight citrus kick giving a clean finish.

10th June 2015: sunny bright day here in Shropshire and I have cut my grass, mown the lawn or whatever you like to call it. My reward to myself is a 500ml bottle of Co-Op Wheat Beer, poured into a Franziskaner Weissbier glass. Poured carefully I got the whole bottle in without any drama. Cloudy, dirty orange body, the head a deep and full blanket of white foam. Wheat, yeast and vanilla in the aroma. The taste is also wheat first, again with a yeasty feel, this time with an orange like flavour instead of the vanilla in the nose. Although I am not a huge fan of this style, at the right time (like now) they can be refreshing and very, very pleasant. This is a lot better than I was expecting to be honest, not bad at all.

500ml bottle from local Co-op. Pours opaque golden yellow with a thick white head. Quite muted on the banana front, but some spice notes alongside floral and wheat. Taste has a gentle bitterness and sweet finish. Creamy texture. Not bad.

Bottle from Co-op store under their HQ in Manchester. Golden, no head. Looks like lager with its small carbonation but certainly a wheat beer in nose and taste, and fairly heavy in this respect.
