(Cask at King William IV, Leyton, London, 28 Nov 2014) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of toast, apricots and dusty hops. Malty taste with toast, apricots and dusty hops in a finish with a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Drinkable, but quite boring and fairly unnecessary.

Cask @ Ginger Goose, Bradford. Clear golden ale with a small head. Has a very gentle fruitiness including some orange and grapefruit but there’s no citric kick to it at all. Includes a very small spiciness and more of a malty nose. Very light tasting.

Cask @ Ship, Bromham Road, Bedford. Gold, small head. Metallic and yeasty aroma. Slight sweet notes with the unmistakable aroma of watercress. Taste is fresh and sweet with watercress prominent throughout. Thin and oily palette. Reasonable enough seasonal.
