Draft @ the brewery. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty smoky caramel aroma. Roasted malty smoky caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel smoky finish with weak hints of chocolate.

On tap at the brewery Bermondsey. Black beer with dark brown edge. Lasting tan head. Slightly thin porter. Some smoke. Over carbonated. Aggressive. Could be good but given the over carbonation its just obnoxious. Carbonic acid smoke is fine. Odd. Bit i liked but too carbonated.

Keg at Fourpure brewery, Bermondsey, London. A dark brown coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Smokey, malty, meaty aroma. Tastes smokey, malty, meaty. Decent smoked offering from Fourpure.

Keg at Fourpure. It pours black with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich smoked malts, charred wood, vanilla, caramelised sugars, smoked meat and decent roast. The taste is smooth, mellow roasted malts, bitter - sweet, smoked malt, charred wood, touch chewy, liquorice, tar and pepper spice with a dry, smokey finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Rather nice smoke beer. The aroma is particular stand out.

Keg at the brewery, 07/05/16. Rich mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is light smoked malt, chocolate, spice, toffee. Taste Comprises bitter charr, smoked malt, biscuit, burnt sugar, toffee, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid smoked affair... subtle and well balanced smoked affair.

Keg at the London Brewers Market April 2016. Pours deep black-brown with a dense, creamy tan head. Nice milk chocolate in the nose, light smoke, burnt toast. Medium sweet flavour with good, rounded cocoa and smoked malts, some burnt wood, light earthy bitterness, charred meat. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Rounded finish with further smoke, burnt ham, smooth chocolate, faint dried dark berries, very mild earthy bitterness. Great stuff overall. Very drinkable.

Keg at the brewery. Dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a thin mid tan head. Aroma is smoked meats, beech wood, rauch malts, maple bacon, brown sugar. Flavour is composed of smoked meat, brown sugar, nutty brown sugars. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation. Gassy. Bitter blackened meat. Good.
