Bottle early 2017 frm Rodzinka Bis. Drink in December 2019. A wiec piwo odlezakowane prawie 3 lata. jak to sie stalo ze odpuscilem te ocene. Bo nie moglem sie polapac w asortymencie piw Widawy. Teraz znalazlem. To tez bylo niesamowite, barwa piany ciemno bezowa do jasnego brazu. Ale nie ta barwa co z pracowni piwa, piana spora tez trwala. Choc nie ta wielkosc i czas stania. Barwa rownie ciemna jak swiezy asfalt nie przeswitujaca. Dosadnie wedzone mocny torfowy posmak. Klasa Widawy jak zawsze wiadomo wiec nie ma co pisac dalej.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, very slowly osteoporosing, moderately lasting, beige to tan head. Smoky, roasty, malty aroma, notes of ham, smoked eel, some liquorice, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, oak ashes. Taste is smoky, roasty, dark malty, mild, sweet-ish, Sherry interludes, notes of ham, smoked eel, dark chocolate, ashy overtones; lingering, smoky and minimally sweetish finish with Sherry interludes. Oily to viscuous texture, smooth and soft, slightly sticky palate, gentle but efficacious carbonation. Very well integrated Sherry notes, dangerous drinkability - excellent.

Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 07/04/17. Black with a well presented dirty tan head. Nose is rich malts, balanced smoke, cocoa rub, dark fruit rinds, toffee, charr. Taste comprises sherry barrel, light smoke, burnt toffee, fruit cake. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced boost. Decent.

Barwa ciemno brunatna, g?ste, nieprzejrzyste. Piana be?owa, niewielka, szybko znika. W aromacie czu? przyjemn? w?dzonk?, za ni? czerwone owoce, likier czekoladowy. W smaku bombonierka, gorzka czekolada, do tego ciekawe nuty za spraw? sherry. Troch? cierpkie, d?ugo zalega w gardle. Alkohol dobrze ukryty. Trzyma poziom.

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Smooth palate, light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin dark malts with spicy dark chocolate and spicy smoke. Light caramel in to sweetish sherry. Touch of salted caramel. Comes together pretty well but the smoke is just strong enough to reduce drinkability. Unusual and tasty nonetheless.

Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 3, split with 77ships. Brune foncée, virant sur le noir, col crémeux café au lait. Arôme remet encore très bien le fumé en avant, l’effet Sherry qui reste modéré, petite pointe fruité en rétro. Même splendeur que la version de base. Palais est malté avec pas mal de fumé malté, load de touche de bbq rappelant le porc grillé, Sherry reste plutôt modéré et en ligne avec les autres. Petite touche de douceur venant dut Sherry.

#9000 Draft glass @ Same Krafty. Black, huge creamy deep tanned head. Nose is thick rich gravy smoke, warming syrupy umami. Taste is thick gravy umami smoked gravy faint caramel, stupidly thick, rich, decadend, leather, sherry isn’t too heavy but adds a nice desert sherry layers. Very nice, stupidly thick. Really great beer, one of the truly great Polish Baltic Porters. Hype this.
