The Książ beer derives from the lower part of Silesia, a region famous for its tradition of brewing beer. Years back, an original recipe was found in the underground chambers of the Książ Castle, which inspired the creation of Książ beer.
Książ Czarny Specjał is a malt liquor. The secret to of this beer is the careful brewing process and long aging, which give Książ Czarny Specjał its distinct flavour and high alcohol content.

Thanks to someone among the Room 213 party people! Golden body with a small white head. Dry, very dry honey, stale aroma, vaguely flowery. Dry, empty taste, light honey, light flowers. Eh. Not as good as some but at least you can’t feel the ABV.

Can from the Polish Shop opposite The Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Golden with a thin head. Certainly strong, although the taste is certainly not overbearing, with a general sweetness and not much else.

50 cl can. Clear, golden colour with a thin, bubbly white head. Sweet aroma with syrup, a grassy bitterness, skunked notes and alcohol. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a soft carbonation and a slick texture. Finishes sweet with harsh hops bitterness and a syrup note. Not a pleasent experience.

Can. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with booze in the long nose. Bitter, hoppy onset, with sweet, malty touches, ending on bitter boozy notes. Lingering, rather unpleasant, bitter aftertaste. Not bad for its style, but I do not like the style to begin with.

Dose, mit Dank an Michau! Another czarne piwo - another black beer that’s not black at all. The can is black agaian, but as the Perła czarna this beer isn’t black either. It pours an even paler golden yellow, and a white head. Dry palate, shy malt flavours, dusty-woody hops.

Canned@Björntasting. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild glue as well as some strange sweetness. Flavour is quite sugary, gluelike, harsh metallic notes as well. Really harsh malt liquor.
