Bottled (thanks Arne M!). Hazy deep golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some nice wooden and mildly spicy tones with some smoke too. Flavour is smoked wet wood, some biscuity and bready malts along with some nutty and mild floral tones. Nicely floral and smoked aftertaste with some herbal tones to it as well.

Bottle. An orange-brown beer with a dense finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. Stjørdalsmalt-smoked aroma with a pleasant fruityness, some notes of yeast and pale malts. It's full-bodied, dry and bitter on the palate, faintly smoke-sour and with a pleasant carbonation. Sweet and fruity flavor with caramel and bread in the back. Long smoked and fruity finish. Sure nice, but I think I prefer the old Norwegian Wood, where the smoke is slightly less present. 190503

From bottle after RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 04.09.19. Cloudy brown. Off-white head. Aroma and taste of raw malt and camp fire. Fine taste of sweet malt, smoked meat and moderate hop bitterness. Well balanced.

0,33 flaske fra helsekosten på Kvaddå: lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Moderate inntrykk av røyk/tjære/bacon og einer i en solid maltkropp. Urtebitterheten gir nødvendig balanse.

Shared 330 ml bottle. Reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of smoke, malts, smoked meat. Dry flavour with the same elements. Decent, but not my favourite style.
