Thanks Matt for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing pitch black with red wine rims and no head. The nose shows extremely brandy forward. The palate is full bodied and moderately carbonated. Moderate alcohol spiciness throughout with strong flavors of brandy and lighter notes of apple.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a nice dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice Brandy notes with some black chocolate and residual sugar notes. Taste is a nice mix of black chocolate notes with some residual sugar notes and nice Brandy notes which rounds off any rough edges from this beer. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Wonderful beer that I wish I would have access to.

Draft Extreme Beer Fest 2016. Hazy yellow in color, no head. Aroma is weak Apple brandy, mild oak, lactose sugar without a doubt.
Flavor is mild but very cohesive. Chocolate malt, mild roast with a presence of oak. The apple brandy is a very light hint in the finish. Maybe I wouldnβt notice it if I didnβt know it was there. Mouthfeel is very, very creamy with a light hint of booze. Nice.

Bottle late-nite RBWG 2016. Pours oily brown-black with a creamy tan head. The nose has some raw alcohol, toasted coconut, roast, cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with intense alcohol, more chocolate, mellow earth bitterness, raisins. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with average carbonation. Hot finish, more cocoa, dark sugars, raisins, figs. Too hot, otherwise nice.
