This Pilsner features new season Motueka in the kettle for flavour and a satisfying bitterness, and as a light dry hop for brightness. We fermented with a German Bock yeast for its clean flavour and crisp finish.

Tap at Southampton Arms in London. Reddish amber clear pour (?), milky and tick white foam. Nose: not a pils in my book, I assume they plugged another keg by mistake. This is a red ale with aroma of amber malts. Mouth: resinous overall in an amberish malty driven beer.

Draft. A golden beer with a huge lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.

Can in garden, from Grumpy Goat, 24th February 19. Pours bright and clear, straw colour, big head. Aroma is fresh grass, hay, taste is clean, bitter, citrus, so fresh and very authentic. A satisfying bitter, floral, citrus finish with a touch of yeast. Delightful

On tap at Cloudwater Bermondsey. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Leafy hoppy aroma. I mean their lagers are pretty good up against Franconia. Light character. good subtle hop flavours. touch of white stone fruit. very drinkable.

16 oz can from Colin. Sparkling gold pour with a one finger fluffy head. I know pils isn't the sexiest style but this beer had it buttoned down in all the right places. Grainy aroma, hint of hops. Taste starts and finishes with the hops . Creamy body with a hint of lemon. Damn tasty.

Can at home sourced from the brewery. A nearly celar deep golden coloured pour with a lasting rocky off white head. Aroma is decent cereal grains, dusty grains, little apple, light sweet ester, hint of toffee. Flavour is composed of rounded toasted cereal gains, big grassy hop, assertive grassy bitterness. light silage, grain husks. Palate is semi crisp, drying bitterness, moderate carbonation, little flint. Pretty aggressive bitterness.
