Expired can bought on discount. Black with a creamy, light brown head that soon fades. Aroma a mix of plums, vanilla, burnt rubber. Taste is bittersweet, finishes with a big dose of lingering ash tray. Medium-bodied, very little carbonation, perhaps due to being expired nearly a year. Interesting. Drinkable.

No head feasible; nearly black brown beer. Sauced pipetobacco, tonka beans, vanilla, oak, felt, cinnamon cookies. Sweet, again tonkabeans, cardboard, cinnamon, pipetobacco. Hint of acidity, no doubt due to the plums. Incense, chocolate, all in all pretty complex. Alcoholheat, well-bodied, slick, light carbonation. Surprisingly good. The blurb made us fear for the worst, but we were very agreably pleased.

Can. Pours dark brown to black, almost no head. Aroma is intense rubber smoke, cinnamon and plums, a hint of whisky but considering two years in the barrel I'm not getting much. Medium to big body. Flavour is smooth and sweet, with dark malts, lots of plums and prunes in the foreground. Then an assault of smoke, lots of rubber, caramel. Cinnamon especially noticeable in the finish, along with noticeable bourbon, light vanilla and long lasting smoke. The rubber smoke is a bit too dominant for me here, but the beer grows on you nevertheless. And I'm always happy to see nepomucen experiment with interesting flavour combinations.

Black color with minimal head. Prunes, vanilla, bourbon aromas. Very sweet, light body.

24 February 2021. Supersecret Random Wednesday Tasting. Cheers to Anke, Ama & Meeki! Hazy black, thin, frothy, beige head. Aroma of cinnamon roll, burnt rubber, extinguished match, chocolate praliné, plum jam, burnt cookie, nutmeg, granola, vanilla, 'bike's inner tube' (dixit Meeki). Taste has sweet plum, prune & raisin in a chocolatey-toffee malt body, spicy biscuit & cinnamon accents with retronasal rubber, bit smoky in that way; light toasty middle; earthy-herbal hoppy finish, smoky, spicy clove & cinnamon returning, woody bourbon alcohol to top it off. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Needs some time to grow, but the rubber accent throughout is a bit too obnoxious.

Can at tasting. Aroma of sweet cinnamon, caramel, sweet bourbon, cherry, malt and chocolate. Taste has lots of cinnamon, chocolate, cherry, sweet fruity bourbon, caramel, vanilla and a little ashy smoke in the finish. Weird.

Bez piany. Bardzo intensywny aromat, aż dziw że w składzie nie ma aromatów. Wanilia, wanilia, wanilia. Za nią trochę cynamonu, czekolady, subtelna nuta wędzonki. W smaku za to bardziej różnorodnie. Słodkie. Poza wanilią pojawia się cynamon i suska sechlońska. Smak jest bardzo intensywny. Przypomina rzeczywiście trochę kompot wigilijny, aczkolwiek taki do którego dodano mnóstwo wanilii. Delikatna śliwkowa kwasowość oraz dymność. Bardzo gładkie, aż śliskie na języku. Nie czuć za bardzo charakteru beczki, ciężko to odróżnić od dodanej wanilii. Wysycenie minimalne. Jest rzeczywiście pastry, bardzo słodkie i pozostawione bez kontry. Oceniając jako pastry jest znakomite i tak je trzeba traktować. Charakteru porteru nie ma tu wcale.

Dużo się dzieje składniki wyczuwalne ale jakoś nic nie dominuje, wszystko na odpowiednim poziomie ( w aromacie pierwszy plan cynamon, w smaku wędzonka, śliwka, figi), myślałem że przy tych parametrach będzie gęste, wyklejające a jest lekkie( jak na to blg) śliskie, beczka wprawdzie trzeci plan ale przyjemnie dopina całość ( waniliny, klepka), . Można się rozpisać i fajną reckę zrobić ale wolę w spokoju się delektować. Pomimo że pastry mocarzy i sałery odpuściłem to wyjątkowo mi podeszło, temperatura, mieszanie robi swoje.

Kurde, nie smakuje mi. Za bardzo wedzone suskowo, za barszo cynqmonowe, za bardzo kompotowoswiateczne. Nie libie tego kompotu wigilijnego, fuj. Ciala niewiele, beczki sladowo... niezagralo. Albo pechowa puszka jakas z dna tanka
