The flagship of Fehér Nyúl. Its story originated in our founders’ kitchen. As homebrewers often do, they were looking for the ”standard IPA” recipe that is lurking inside everyone’s head who has ever tried brewing this style. When the mission was accomplished, our IPA got drafted into the Hungarian national homebrewing championship. Out of more than 70 beers, it came top, giving a crucial push towards the start of Fehér Nyúl. Its recipe has changed a tiny bit since, to reflect current changes in the IPA market, but it’s still a classic American IPA.

0,33 can. Szűretlen, világos-borostyán szín, szé tartós fehér hab. Illata szúrósan komlós és élesztős, emellett persze gyümölcsös- ananászos - édes, malátás. Testes - de háttérben mégis kissé vizes hatású - kevés szénsavval. Barackos, gyümölcsös, komlós ízek dominálnak, háttérben végig a malátás édességgel. Keserűség rendben. Belekötni nem lehetett, klasszik, normál IPA.

Unfiltered, light amber color, long-lasting white head. The aroma is pungently hoppy and yeasty, and of course fruity-pineapple-sweet, malty. Full-bodied - but still a bit watery in the background - with little carbonation. Peachy, fruity, hoppy flavors dominate, with malty sweetness in the background throughout. Bitterness okay. Couldn't get into it, great, normal IPA.

Blond colour with thin head and light haze. Lots of hop aromas. Grassy, earthy and a little tangerine citrus too. It's got a great level of bitterness.

Bottle, Bierkiste. Hazy golden, large bubbles, tanned creamy head. Peach and citrus old-school hop aroma. Medium to full lightly resinny/siruppy mouthfeel, Classic hop profile on a classic crystal-like malt base. Absolutely nothing wrong with that!

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Fruity, slightly citrusy, piney, hoppy aroma, notes of yellow stone fruit, some resin, lemon, orange peel, apricot, quince, pale and caramel malty background, floral hoppy overtones. Taste is sugary, sweet-ish, pale malty with an marzipan and almond touch, dry, bitter, fruity, grassy, slightly citrusy hoppy, hints of overripe yellow stone fruit, some lemon peel, a papery touch; bitter hoppy and slightly papery finish. Dissolved sugar-enriched, watery texture, indifferent palate, medium carbonation. Not really harmonious, some off-flavours - OK.
