The flagship of Fehér Nyúl. Its story originated in our founders’ kitchen. As homebrewers often do, they were looking for the ”standard IPA” recipe that is lurking inside everyone’s head who has ever tried brewing this style. When the mission was accomplished, our IPA got drafted into the Hungarian national homebrewing championship. Out of more than 70 beers, it came top, giving a crucial push towards the start of Fehér Nyúl. Its recipe has changed a tiny bit since, to reflect current changes in the IPA market, but it’s still a classic American IPA.

hazy orange colour, medium sized dense and quite stable off-white head; aroma of lemongrass, pine, orange zest, some tropical fruity and celery notes; well balanced bittersweet taste with basically the same notes as can be felt in the aroma, as well as some butterscotch-like maltyness; refreshing IPA

Co do wyglądu nie mam zastrzeżeń, ale już w aromacie przeszkadza siarka, poza tym owoce tropikalne, żywica i nuty ziołowo-kwiatowe, w smaku bieda - słodka słodowość kontrowana ziołowo-trawiastą średnią goryczką na finiszu zalegające albego grejpfruta. Wysycenie średnie, ciało ok jak na piętnaście blg. Póki co nie trafiłem na Węgierskie krafty które by przykuły moją uwagę.

0.2 l on tap at 'Beer Point' at 5.5 % abv. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and a bit resiny aroma of mango, orange and pine. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity and slightly resiny taste of mango, orange and some pine, followed by a short, medium bitter, resiny and slightly grassy finish. Medium body, creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, but nothing special.
