330 ml bottle. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of chocolate, lactose and roasted malts. Flavors of creamy chocolate ice cream, vanilla, lactose and roasted malts. Quite sweet but still quite nice

Des arômes de guimauve et de sirop d’érable assez dominants. Mélasse et cassonnade en sous-note avec des notes de torréfaction en soutient. Un olfactif qui relève un intense sucré. Une mousse de couleur moka assez dense et assez persistante recouvre un liquide noir et opaque. Le sirop d’érable et la guimauve dominent également la bouche avec un alcool chaleureux et très bien dosé. Des accents de chocolat noir, de vanille et de cassonade rehaussent le tout. Les accents de torréfaction sont légers et laissent toute la place aux adjuvants et aux esters. Le corps est ample, la texture liquoreuse, dodue. La carbonatation très faible laisse les sucres résiduels prendre toute la place qui leur revient. Excellente Pastry Stout. Mais j’aurais préféré goûter plus la bière de base. Pour amateurs de sucre. Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of marshmallow, fudge and light residual sugar notes. Taste is a mix of marshmallow with some fudge notes and light bourbon and vanilla notes. Body is full with oily texture and good carbonation with no discernible alcohol notes. Solid pastry stout with great flavors and some good balance.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, and maple syrup. The flavor is sweet with notes of maple syrup, dark chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt, leading to a bitter finish.
