Bottle, danke Felix. Somewhat oxidized, wooden roast, bourbon, a bit barley wine. Darkened golden, brownish. Medium full, chewy dry, a bit meat, a hint chalk, fruit, well integrated barrel. Quite a surprise.

A bit cloudy brown, light head. Huge bourbon nose, smells a lot more than 6.8%, powerful! Wow, fantastic light sweet syrup flavor (but not too much actual sugar remaining) with a smooth bourbon hit, stone fruits / plum, very smooth melding of all flavors. Excellent.

Ladara Bockbier, Flasche von Keils Getränkemarkt, Bayreuth. - Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase gedämpftes toastiges Malz, süße Rosinen, leicht herbe Zitrusfrucht (Mandarine). - Antrunk bocktypisch intensiv mit fettem Toastmalz, schwerer karamelliger Süße und etwas marmeladigen Fruchtnoten (Apfel, Kirsche). Nicht zu knappe, leicht kräuterige Hopfenherbe. Noten von Vanille, Holz und wohl auch Bourbon. Milder rezent, vollmundig, alkoholisch. Im Abgang leicht holzig und gut krautig hopfenherb. - Schöner DUNKLER Bock (den nur Blinde als hell bezeichnen können), satt malzig, fränkisch herb und mit ein wenig Bourbon-Spielerei aufgepeppt. Die könnte beim nächsten Mal ein wenig dezenter ausfallen.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts fine malty, roasty, some woody hints. Roasty bitter notes in the background. Finish well balanced, light sweetish. Nice!

Bottle from Craftbeer-Kiosk Wuppertal. Fantastic creamy smooth malty and caramelly beginning. Great woody bourbon aroma, malt and caramel with a smooth mild round bitterness in the end. Fantastic brew!

Aroma has stinging and sweet bourbon and ripe fruits. Flavour has malt, sweet bourbon tones, vanilla, some ripe fruits and honey. Bourbon sweetness has taken over and all that is left from the original bock is some maltiness. Unbalanced.

Danke an kevnic2008. Wässriger, holzig malziger Antrunk. Noten von Karamell, weiter holzig, die Wässrigkeit nimmt zu. Etwas getreidig, eher monoton. Okay. 8/7/7/7//7
