7-3-8-4-15 Rerate after an inkling of ..well, not optimal tap lines at Cardinal. Bottle this time, #2347, two months after bottling. Pours hazy orange, with a creamy head.  Aroma is caramel malts with toffee, as well as herbal hops with orange peel and earthy minerals. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is earthy hops with orange peel, as well as malts with bread, toffee and heather. Lingering dry, bitter finish with notes of pine and resin, as well as well as yeasty minerals. This is a splendid beer, an my inkling served me right, unless this beer varies a lot.
OLD RATING: 5-3-6-3-13 On tap @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark golden, with a creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet malty notes of bread, toffee, heather and notes of butter, as well as earthy floral hops notes. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is malts with bread, toffee and heather, as well as herbal hops with citrusy notes and minerals. Some butterscotch. Nice floral finish.
