Poured from the tap. Cloudy golden orange with minimal white head. Mild garden herbs, elderflower, very light lemon zest, mild tartness, slightly dry finish. Some decent flavours on the palette, but they don’t necessarily comingle successfully. Still decent.

Sample from 2017 bottle at Urban Artifact during The Extinction Event: Natural Wine & Spontaneous Beer Fest on 09/28/2019. The beer pours a slightly hazy straw-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of oak, citrus, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with a vinous oaky character and notes of tart lemon, floral wheat and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a citrusy aftertaste. Good beer overall.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of Brett, ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light Brett, very nice and fruity, yet dry. On tap at Bar Volo.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 26/09/19. Clear golden with a well presented white cap. Nose is lemon tinged straw, hay bale, light bass funk, toasted grains. Taste comprises pissy citric shreds, funk, barnyard esters, damp cloth, lemon drizzle, light perfume. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with light herb and a spike of acidity. Decent punchy sour with mellow to rising acidic bite but kept in check.

Slightly hazy, amber, big vinous note, barrel, but maybe a bit raw, some hing, sulphur sort of notes, but that could be the way the elderflower and lemon are coming across because both of them are in there. Tart, has some sweetness, white wine, stone fruits, it’s actually a lot of fun.

On tap at Cascade, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very herbal, with fresh basil and who knows what else from the garden, along with lemon zest and floral notes. Flavour is very citric and herbal, with lots of floral notes, lemon zest, and basil. Harsh and lacking integration. This isn't too impressive.
