Poured from a 16 oz can dated 09/25/2017; I am really upset at myself for not checking the date before buying. Aroma is fairly mobile with quite a bit of caramel malt and some lighter cracker malt notes. Medium light tropical fruit notes with some grapefruit and resin as well. Light dank note. Pours a hazy, dull, copper orange color with a medium sized, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and no legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some cracker malt, caramel and honey notes. Moderately strong bitterness with moderate hop notes. Lots of pine resin and grapefruit with light tropical fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this beer is definitely showing its age. I can't believe its still sitting on the shelves at 6 months old. Malt profile is too strong and caramel forward.

Pint at the Takanoya Event. A bright copper color with a fruity flavorful aroma. Light bodied and dry but not thin. Nice balanced flavor of juicy hops, resin and crackery pale malts. Really good, perfect after work beer that had me down the pint quick.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is dankish citrus/earth. Med body or nearly. Flavor is very citrus/earth. It's pretty dry; decently bitter. Not so dank as the "big" IPAs, but it is somewhat dank for me. Maybe a little grapefruit with time. Lots of flavor for a 4.7. Definitely sessionable.
