Pour is a dark bronze with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malt and some wet paper bag. Flavor is dry dark bread with a minty aftertaste. Tastes old but better then the unfiltered one from this brewer I've just had.

Swing top bottle from the new Polish supermarket in sunny Darnall. Light amber with a just off white foam. Bit of a malt bomb here. Bready and a little metallic. Light notes of woody hop. Taste is pretty bitter and a tad harsh overall. Minimal sweetness. Medium body is erring towards heavy. Fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish.

Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen, opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Golden with a small head. Hoppy in both aroma and taste, lessens its lager character, fairly smooth in the palate, nothing too stated here but pleasant enough.

0,5l bottle from “Polski market Kubus” in Brussels. F: medium, white, not long lasting. C: deep gold, bit hazy. A: malty, bit herbal, some caramel, grassy, vaguely fruity. T: medium malty base, some herbal tones, weak bitterness, caramel, soft carbonation, hop is quite lost here, strange.

Bottle from 7 Days, Crewe. Has an aroma of apricots and bitter hops. Pours a golden brown with a scummy but transient white head. Fairly high carbonation. In the mouth there are apricots again, then grains and metallic marmalade, with some sweetness trying to get through. Finish is a gravy-like bitterness. A bit too macro-lager like for me. Not much sign of the “Polish hops” !

Flip-top 500ml bottle from a local Polish store; BB16th Mar 2021. Drank at home on 21st May 2020 during the virus Lock In. Decent off-white head on an amber body, hoppy nose and taste, not bad at all.
