Pours nearly black, no real head. Scent is roasty, chocolate, sweet impressions, thick and full. Taste is intense, roasty, sweet, chocolate, boozy ( but not giving away the 18 abv, more like a 13). Oaky, but don't really get the sherry previous raters talked about ( which is a downer for me, a huge sherry fan). Ofc extremely Full-bodied. Bourbon comes trough mildly. Nice imperial stout, that doesn't give away its crazy abv. Just doesn't seem necessary though, to have 18 abv for the tastes you get, it's comparable to a 13 abv beer so why consume more alcohol?

Super-strong bourbon barrel aged imperial stout from Estonia, bottle shared with Goedele, bought online in the Netherlands. Thin and loose, open, greyish pale beige, dissolving head (gone entirely within minutes under influence of the alcohol), black robe with reddish burgundy edges. Intense, overwhelming but alluring bouquet of warm chocolate sauce, coffee liqueur (Tia Maria), vanilla, toffee, sweet bourbon, cappuccino, fig jam, Belgian chocolates, hazelnut paste. Intense candied sweetness in the mouth as well, candied figs and dates, very light gravy-like umami touch but the overall sweetness prevails, blending seamlessly with a massive, multi-layered maltiness that ensues, piling hazelnuts, dark chocolate and toffee upon each other, while being very softly carbonated; the umami accent and the dark sugariness linger till deep into a liqueurish finish, where strong vanilla-like oak scents develop as well as the expected sweet bourbon-like booziness, warming the chest without – remarkably – dominating everything else. Very intense, formidable stout, densely packed flavours here but centered around a dark, chocolatey sweetness, which makes it very accessible; especially remarkable is the fact that the alcohol, though obviously very pronounced, remains gentle and soothing rather than overpowering and wry. There is no doubt that this beer is as great as it gets in the range of 15+% ABV stouts – this is of no lesser quality than e.g. the legendary Black Tuesday by The Bruery. It seems as if even eastern Europe does no longer need American craft beer, they can brew basically all of these American concepts themselves these days… Much better than expected, this Singularity (a name referring to black holes, I presume).

A super strong burning beer. But tasty. Yet for an imperial stout it’s not wonderful. Uba tallinn

Bottle. Black. Chocolate, coconut, vanilla, oak and roast in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel, vanilla, oak, bourbon, licorice. Full bodied. Alcoholic. Tobacco. Deceptie lychee drinkable, but heavy stuff indeed.

Tons of bourbon, sugar, sweet cherries, sherry. A bit too sweet and boozy, but complex and nice. 4.0

Draught @ Konttori. Aroma has licorice, alcohol and solvent. Also soy sauce and sweet malt. Flavour has sweet malt, alcohol, some coffee and sugary sweet malt. Reminds me of Nøgne Ø DH3.

15 December 2018. Black Beer Fest, Ieper. Cheers to Anke, Erwin & Ama Deke! Cloudy black with a thin, beige head. Rich aroma of apple (acetaldehyde), calvados, bourbon, wood, praliné, liqueur, milk chocolate, or liqueur-filled bonbons, prune & date. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, quite fruity with dates, prune & raisin, deeply chocolatey too; light to medium roasted bitter with mocha, nutty & woody edge, but sweetness prevails, adding some creamy vanilla. Dryish, peppery hoppy finish, lingering 'woody vanilla', cream, dark fruit, and a firm but not even wry dash of warming alcohol, keeping the middle ground between bourbon & liqueur. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very nice sipper, rich, almost insane that it's 18%...

Wow, unlike anything I've had before. Smells like bourbon-soaked licorice raisins. Tastes like.. a lot. Sweet for sure, sherry and raisins, bourbon, wood, salty licorice. Boozy, but remarkably easy drinking. How do they do this?! A good one to celebrate. This stuff is true madness.
