Fles gedeeld door Inoven. Het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van fris zure hout tonen en rum. De smaak is vol fruitig, kruidig en rum achtig met een zoete vanille achtige afdronk.

75cl bottle, de et partagée avec Tderoeck post-Xmas concert. lot# 09/2020.
Pâle/orange, col épais crémeux blanc.
Arôme présente un savoureux mixe d'effluves de rum tout en ayant un rétro un peu 'kerst-winterse kruiden' - ici léger chocolaté, amande grillée, caroube.
Palais sur un effet gingerbread, graine de coriandre avec un apport de rum plaisant qui ne passe pas comme surfait. La bière garde son côté très belge au niveau de la levure - côté ester sur la banane, herbacé en fin de bouche pour le caractère hivernal, voire botanique oscillant entre thym et anisé. Petite amertume finale restant sur le noble.

Foodpairing: stoofvlees met frietjes (Flemish Carbonades, Carbonades à la Flamande)
Clear orange beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet impression, ripe pears, malty touch, spicy, a bit soapy, floral, some coriander. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of alcohol, rum, spicy, very bitter, oxidized, bitter almonds, Amaretto, spicy, marzipan. Aftertaste: oxidized, spicy, rum, lots of alcohol, lots of coriander, very bitter, almost chemical, oxidized.

Bottle shared, darker golden beer, small head. Aroma is alcohol, wood, fruit, esters, malt, rum. Taste is the same, alcohol, wood, malt, sweet, fruit, esters. Nice one.

Bottle. Clear amber with a dense white head that lasts very well. Candied orange and bun dough aroma with some spices and booze. Then a surprising apple brandy punch before sweet bread, orange and spices. A lick of booze and some firmish bitterness at the drying oaked end. Classy dumb fun.
