Bottle shared at home. Murky light golden with short lasting fizzy white head. Urinal on the nose up front. Lemon, lime peel, mineral water, lots of pee, cream, light funk, hay, soy sauce, bready. Under medium sour with quite light saltiness and lactic sweetness. Medium bodied with slick feel and fine carbonation. Way too much piss in here.

Borefts VII. Day 2. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Mild lactose. Lemony sourness with a touch of sweet floralness providing relief. Light semi dry finish. Fine.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A cloudy straw pour with no head; rather musty aroma with some yeast and grains; sharply sour gooseberry taste, with some lemon and tangerine; and a very tart finish. This seems to rather overdo the tartness I’d expect in a Berliner Weisse, and I certainly wouldn’t want to order another one.

Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 26/09/15. Hazed orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is funky, lemon rind, pissy strands, damp straw. Taste comprises tarte gooseberry, funk, balsa wood, apple core, pissoi, earthy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte fruit rinse in the close with a light acidic bite. Decent refreshing ’Linner.
