04/10/2015 @home - 33cl from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte Hazy straw coloured with small fading head, leaving a lacing at the sides of the glass. Aroma is sour, lemon, some hay. Taste : sour, some lemon, some grains, clear Alvinne touch (which I as usually like), dry, funky, real good refresher to drink at ease.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Hazy golden, small white head. Nose is odd milky, rotting bread, spoiled lactic, faintly salty. Taste is hugely lactic, acid, puckering, some vinegar, weird puckering fruit, zesty, rotting bread,… Overly sour, lactic, puckering & a bit weird. Eh… I expected a lot more from the 2 breweries involved, this may just not be their style.

Bouteille 33cl, BB04/2018, lot#783. Couleur trouble paille, col blanc disparaissant vite. Arôme est renfermé présentant ce bouquet distinct de Morpheus, sour mash, rétro citronné, grains apportant une certaine douceur petite note minérale. Palais offre un agréable profil lactique, mais restant assez épais, peut-être du au seigle? Retrouve un caractère typique de Alvinne, note de jus de citron agrémenté d’une petite note acidulée. Reste assez monodimensionnelle mais efficace, et effectivement; Morpheus Yeast Inside.

Almost no head; fully cloudy straw-coloured beer. Clear lactic acid and lemon; actually already refreshing in the aroma. Wild yeast. Sourish-spicy, but with a strange vegetable underbuild (butternut??), containing even some sweetness. Flavour reminding of buckthorn. After some time, the rye becomes pretty obvious. Very refreshing, light, as behoves a Berliner Weisse. Nice, convincing, refreshing! More of this!

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, with a very small head. Aroma is tart with lactic acid, lemon and the morpheus yeast with farmyardy notes, as well as currants. Light body, with very soft carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity lemon and lactic acid, as well as currants, grassy notes and yeast.

Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is sour with a notes of vinegar, gooseberries and hint of acetone. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a long dry, tart and fruity finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft to flat.
