Pours clear gold into a willi. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving spidery sheets. Pine and tangerine aromas. Medium bodied with lemon joy and sweet caramel upfront turning to crisp tangerine before the lasting dirty overripe tropical fruit skin finish. Booze helps as it warms...

A golden DIPA with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with loads of resinous piney hops, grapefruit pulp, classic. In mouth, caramel malt with resinous floral hops, metallic notes, grapefruit pulp, alcohol warmth, pleasant. Can.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Cascade Club online. Medium sweet flavour with lovely gooey pine, semi-ripe citrus fruits, bit of boozy kick, sun-kissed pale bread. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Warming, resinous finish, more pine, tangerine rind, touch of mango, pale bread. Great old-school imperial IPA.

Yardhouse Dallas. Clear, light amber brew, lingering froth. Honey, hard citrus, hot booze nose. Taste is rindy, boozy, medium high acid, candy floral-hot ferment, tripel level sweet. Cheerio grain finish. Crispy, kinda sharp, little twing of tartness, just too sweet.
