Vlajková loď z produkce žateckého pivovaru. Vyrobeno speciálním výrobním procesem, tzv. za studena chmelené, vybranou odrůdou žateckého chmele. Pivo tmavě zlaté až jantarové barvy, plné chuti s vyšší hořkostí a výraznou vůní žateckého chmele. Vhodné k těžším a mastnějším jídlům, především k pokrmům z vepřového masa. Skvělé jako digestiv po jídle, nebo jako chmelový „lék“ před spaním. Optimální teplota k servírování je 5°– 6° C, nejlépe do sklenic na nožičce typu Cervoize.

Flaske delt på RBHD-samling hos Odd Gunnar, nov-16: klar gylden med tett skum som ikke gir seg så lett. Kokte grønnsaker, gress og fløtekaramell i aroma og smak, og i ettersmaken er det dessverre også noe metallisk. Skuffende, særlig siden vi først leste bryggeriets selvskrytende beskrivelse av innholdet.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, as Sedmy Chod, (Remeslue Vyrobeno). ABV 5.5%. Deep golden to orange colour, slightly off-white head. Aroma of artificial candy and grass. Tolerable flavour with a fairly distinct bitterness.

Share bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 29.11.16. Clea golden. Foamy and persisten off-white head and lacing. Aroma of grass, raw vegetables and butterscotch. Similar taste. Slightly metallic bitterness.

0.33 l bottle shared with Marko and Ogi. Thanks! Clear golden, medium white to off-white head. Hay, malts, some caramel, slightly unclear. Light bitter with some malts, quite ok. Light body, soft carbonation, grassy moderate lasting finish. Nice hoppy profile, but to light for a 5.5.

Lahev (Diky do Bodamského jezera!): Deep golden to light amber coloured, clear, small and lacy off-white head; both mild caramalt and mild, but distinctive spicy-herbal hops in the nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering spicy-Saazy (Žatec means Saaz...;-)) and caramelly finish. Not great, but well balanced and well drinkable...

Thanks Ogi! Deeper golden body, good head. Aroma - flowery, peppery herbal notes on top of sweet maltiness, bready. Soft malty sweet background, bitter peppery finish going long in the aftertaste. Light body, slightly unbalanced but not bad. Two interesting flavors, good even, that don’t mix that well. Can’t say I’d hoped for more, and I’m glad to see that they didn’t spare the hops that much, but it could’ve been done with more thought. Good, not great.

0,5l bottle bought a day before in Brno. BB 22.09.2016. golden clear shiny color, medium big white head. smells grassy, herbal, tobacco, light fruit notes, hints of sweetness. rather average smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes metallic, some herbs, a bit stale, some sweetness, not much else. finishes lightly bitter with some grassy notes. OK beer, but rather boring.
