440ml can. Light clear amber, small white head, thin retention. Aroma of malts and cardboard, maybe a light fruit in the background. Taste is malty, stale, a small amount of red fruit concentrate - I cant even tell its strawberry. Light to moderate body, slightly cloying. At £1.59 its easy to say you get what you pay for but this works out at more per beer than the £4 for £6 offers you can get in certain supermarkets for an actual decent beer. Its absolute rubbish. I feel ashamed adding this to the database and I've got 3 other new Hop Foundry ones to try - oh dear god.

(Can) Pours clear amber with reasonable white head. Aroma is stewed strawberries with metallic notes. Light bodied, rather fizzy. Unusual taste. Stewed strawberries / strawberry jam at the start. A little light malt appears in mid palate and then some rather harsh p, slightly metallic bitterness in the finish. Ok, but doesn’t quite fit together.

Slight gusher. Dark blond colour with thin head. It's a plain lager with a slight sweet and sour tang. Something in the background is maybe like strawberry sweets or jellies.

Can from Aldi Supermarket, Milnrow. Copper-gold, more of the former with a small head. There's not a lot of strawberry, but there's not a lot of lager character either, with the fruit evident but light, providing a slightly sticky-sweet texture and taste too.

[44cl can from Aldi, Bracknell] An amber pour with a fast fading white head; weak, artificial, strawberry aroma; sweet in the mouth if a trace of strawberry flavouring; and a sourish fruity finish. Rather odd.

440ml can from Aldi - Clear old gold body, fake strawberry fragrance. Taste ghastly.

44cl can from Aldi. Thin white head. Clear golden pour with a tinge of red. Don't really get the strawberry. It just seems very out of balance.

1st BBQ of the year: 30th Mar 2021, it's Bertie's Birthday, so I decided to get rid of all my shit stuff in one long drunken session. This was first! 440ml can: BB 28th Feb 2022. Clean and clear orange body, weak, fading head. Mini Strawberry like aroma and taste, not as bad as I expected to be honest, bit sweet.
