The malt bill of v10 is unchanged from v9; lots of flaked and malted oats to give a silky texture. We used the new experimental hop variety HCB630 which should deliver aromas of cherry and raspberry, paired with old friends Citra and Columbus (cryo) for some lush tropical mango and punchy pine.

On tap at Malz, Leuven. Hazy orange with small white head. Malty, fruity, peach some tropical fruit, sweet. Soft texture with medium body.

33cl Blik van De Laat. Troebel donker goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Fruitig, ananas, papaya, maar allemaal heel licht, weinig echte hop-bite, zelfs voor een fruitsapje is dit wat aan de slappe kant.

Can from the brewery webshop and drunk at home (29/04/2021) - very hazed dark orange with a off white head. Juicy fruity with plenty of stonefruit, notes of peach, nectarine, mango, some gooseberry, citrus fruity action, pine needles, solid sweet malty backbone, assertive hoppy finish. Hits the spot, very nice.

Very hazy dull golden orange with a bubble off white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, tropical fruits, green hops, light onion. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours a murky orange brownish colour and an off white head with little retention. Aroma's: lovely dankness and soft fruit, as well as some onions. Retronasal it's dank, sweetish, soft fruit. Flavour is light moderate sweet with a hint of bitter. Medium bodied, velvetty mouthfeel. Light moderate bitter finish. Lovely stuff.

Can. Color: Very hazy-dark orange, off-white head. Aroma: Hop, tropical fruit. Taste: Very smooth, tropical fruit, mango, some citrus, bit grassy and piney hopbitterness. Light hints of strawberry and red fruit. Above moderate bitterness with decent wheat malt background. Bittery palate at finish. Pretty dense. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting fruity bittersweet finish. Another nice Barbarian.
