Dr. Raptor back at it again, this time mashing oranges and coconuts like a Swiss hadron collider smashes atoms. The result is a orange an coconut milk stout swirl that pushes the limits of the periodcal table. No, scratch that .... It propels you to new dimensions. But hey, coconut and orange almost sound healthy, right? Yes it does! Breakfast of champions, baby.

Can shared with Bro Ro, courtesy of Marko. Past BBD, prolly cellared by himself for a while, and the age shows indeed. So, both the coconut and orange are there. Subdued, but there. Couldnt tell if fake or real, however hard I tried. Havent had a beer with lactose in a surprisingly long time, interestingly.

Can from Pub-up-beershop, Wolvega. Coconut with orange in the aroma. Dark malt, some chocolate, hint of marshmallow, some more fruity notes. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body feels too thin for the style. A bit unrefined, but strangely likeable for me.

10/IV/22 - 33cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 5/III/23, canned: 5/III/21 (2022-350)

A little cloudy dark brown to black beer, huge fizzy aery irregular beige head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: that’s a lot of oranges all right, a good roast, a bit oxidized, quite some coconut coming through as well. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, nice roast, coconut, some milk chocolate, some candied orange peel, vanilla. Aftertaste: more roast, bitter, coffee, dark chocolate, fruity, oranges, bit of an alcohol burn, sugary, vanilla, coconut, nice one!

Near black with a tan head. Aroma of orange and coconut strongly upfront with chocolate behind. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. I’m really not sure why you would mix coconut and orange. Either individually would work pretty well in this beer but together it’s a bit of a mess.
