Can. Not that fresh I guess. Just hazy pale gold with a loose white head. Spicy aroma - pepper, pine needles, mint (!) - with some citrus and tropical fruit. Crackery malt sweetness is enough despite being pretty light bodied. Some fruit but mainly punchy and unusual spices/ herbs, which I guess is Zappa. Mint, also earthy berries (like a fresh but toned down juniper berry). Interesting, good.

12 oz from a six pack bought at the grocery store. Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, Smarties, grain, wheat crackers--overall not all that aromatic for an IPA. Pours hazy golden with a one+ finger cream-white pillowy head with excellent retention. Taste is moderately bitter and a little sweet; finishes with a lingering pithy bitterness. Crisp, clean and refreshing.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a large white head. Aroma of passion fruit, melon, perhaps citrus. Med body. Flavor is passion fruit and melon. Green, not cantaloupe. Not too sure about citrus. Seems slightly earthy. Caramel is shy. Not strong flavors, but good flavors.

5 week old can A: Poured a very clear pale yellow with some coarse sediment and a short lasting head and soapy lace. It looks like a nice pilsner. S: Fresh tart fruit aroma of lemon lime, green apple and lemon cake. T: Lightly boozy and tart with green apple, lemon lime pith and pulp. Biscuit malts. Like a strong kolsch but with a slightly vegetal finish. M: Light medium body, crisp carbonation and a dry vinous mouthfeel. O: Very good save for the chem/veg note. Still worthwhile.
