Bottle via Beer Republic. Full body, med-high carbonation, small bubbles. Very high bitterness, mostly hoppy, grassy, piney, resiny. A bit of roast too. Med-light sweetness and alco warmth. Med-light toffee, caramelly, subtle chocolatey roasty maltiness. Rewarding sipper. Quite good.

Bottle, 0.355l. Aroma is floral, caramelly, dried fruity and a bit sweaty with dandelion syrup note. Pours cloudy dark brown color with thin creamy cappuccino-like head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts with rich caramel and bread, following is dried fruity, roasted, herbal and medicinal, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Poor aroma, excellent taste…

3/III/24 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle from De Hopduvel? I forgot where I got this one. Shared @ home, BB: n/a, bottled: III/9/21, “1223 2” (2024-146)
Clear dark purple brown beer, big irregular beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: dried fruits, caramel, milk chocolate, soy sauce, oxidised, some ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice, a bit sourish, alcohol, pretty bitter, hoppy, dried fruits, soft roast, some coffee. Aftertaste: bitter, dried fruits, some caramel, very bitter hops, malty, some coffee, alcohol burn, a little floral. Decent, but not as great as I had hoped for when I started saving this bottle.

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy black, thin, tan head. Aroma of molasses, dark fudge, prune, pear, sweetened fondant, black olive, liqueur. Taste has sweet plum, raisin & pear in a malt profile of toffee & molasses, vague rye and some herbal liquorice. Earthy hops in the finish, lingering dried fruit, bitter pink grapefruit, molasses and warming brandy-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Lovely BW, Americanesque so to speak.

12 oz bottle shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom. 2021 vintage. Aroma of sugar covered raisins, old leaves, earth. Flavor follows with a touch of old caramel candy. Medium body. Smooth carbonation. Age is slightly noticeable. Slightly bitter finish. Decent.
