Pours clear , small white head. Scent is full, malty, light and vibrant. Mild fruityness ( apple, lemon) . Taste is sharp, lactic acid, dry, mild fruityness, mild bitterness. Specific bitter & sour combo. Could have used more aromahop though.

Can @ Belgian Summer Gathering Sept' 21, Evergem.

Fluffy, light yellow head over fully hazy yellow beer. Again this sulphury, almost rotting nose, drainwater. Fruity hops, yellow fruit. Bitterish, and thankfully, the decaying fruitaroma does not repeat retronasal, but the sulphur remains present. Yellow & green fruit and hop notes. Light body but not lean. Good carbonation, slick. Nose is a pity, rest is quite OK!

Can from Geers; not to be confused with the regular Sour IPA. Can was seemingly 'exploded' at the rim (small bubble), an issue that has been going on for some time now with Totem's cans (it's no fun cleaning up a Speculoos Stout...). Hazy yellow with a decent frothy white head. Aroma of gooseberry, white grape, young yellow apple, lime, mandarin, sour cream. Taste has sour mandarin, gooseberry & apple, bitterish white grape & citrus peel over sourdough maltiness, some lactic tartness too into the finish where subtle floral hops pop up, quickly dominated again by sour yellow fruits & citrus. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation - bit too much actually. Sympathetic little brew by Totem.

15/IV/21 - 33cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: VIII/2022 (2021-290)

Pretty cloudy light to bright yellow beer, small creamy dense white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty fruity, citrus, pineapple, some tropical fruits, apricots, bit spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty acidic, lots of grapefruit, some orange peels, pretty bitter, lemony, dry. Aftertaste: fruity, some orange peel, spicy, dry bitter finish.
