Bottle, directly from Tilquin. No 04138. Color: Clear orangish golden, nice creamy white head. Aroma: Tart gooseberry, citrus, unripe grapes. Oak wood. Funky. Taste: Over moderate tart, hints of balsamico vinegar, oak wood, hints of vanilla, tart fruit like citrus, some gooseberry, apple and unripe white grape. Subtle hay and barnyard funk. Smooth, almost a bit creamy mouthfeel. Medium body, below average carbonation. Very nice balance. Great anniversary Gueuze.

750mL bottle at Row 34, 1/8/23. Clear, bright gold, good, fine carbonation. White head to ring quickly. Citrus, honey, Brett and light lactic acid with moderate barnyard. Clean. Nothing overly interesting, though. Same in flavor. Kinda acetic up front though with good maltiness. Vague citrus, fair amount of Brett. Good balance. Prickly/fizzy carbonation. Fine but just not that exciting. Feels on the sweeter side and seems like it's still refermenting pretty actively. Probably would be much better in a handful of years.
