Draught: Poured a clear golden color perry with good carbonation. Aroma of semi-sweet pear notes is dominant. Taste is also a mix of semi-sweet pear notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Refreshing with a limited level of complexity.

(Cask at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 26 Nov 2022) Pale greenish yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with pears, grass and cucumber. Fruity taste with notes of pears, grass, citrus, cucumber and a dry finish with a balanced acidity. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

500ml bottle from press. Week or so settle time in the fridge. L4995 on the cap, L1506 on the label, 5%. Shelton Bros insignia on the back, but they've been dead for some time, so... Goblet @home. Thin froth atop a medium gold, mostly clear pour(aside from many flat, yeasty chunks that look very much like fish food). Lots of pear skin on the nose. Oily, sweet corn, elderflower fruitiness, sweet baked bread, simple syrup, Old Mott's apple juice. Drinks really well; big gulps. Snappy pedestrian tartness, moderately rough pear skin astringency, slight grape, touch of veg, subtle Aspirin/minerally bitterness, soda slickness & sweetness. Lingering veg. Middling carbonation with a weak popsicle finish. I could do with this being higher abv, but it hits most of the notes. Nice intro into better slosh.

Medium sweetness with light tartness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Slight tangy and sweet finish. Quite nice.

Draught, as traditional perry, 5.8%. Rather clear pale yellow color with soapy head. Aroma is vanilla, pears. Taste is vanilla, custard, pears, some tannins in the back. Very thick oily mouthfeel, flat. Tasty enough, but not great.

Clear golden colour, no head - as expected frrom a cider or perry; aroma and taste of canned pear and apple with sugar syrup and some vinous-vinegar, as well as wine cellar notes

Bottle. Seems like June, 2015 bottling but not completely sure. Big, juicy pear nose, caramel and butter, like a pie. Awesome. Honey and rhubarb in there too. Somewhat sweet, very fruity and fascinating pear flavors. Medium tannins, light to medium sharpness. Semi-dry and fruity with a peppery, tannic, bittering finish and citrus notes. Pale golden orange with a slight haze and lace. Very soft carbonation. Awesome. Can't believe the ratings here are so low. A truly great perry.
