Orient-Ále is a hybrid between Saké and beer. An Ale with clear foodprints in the East. We used Koji spores, Darjeeling tea and a combination of Sake yeast and Beer yeast. The results, a complex, different beer with an elegant body, but dangerous, because of the hidden alcohol.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a generally clear gold, foamy white head. Interestingly fruity sake yeast influence.. soft palate.. not hugely exciting or characterful, as these sake yeast beers can be, but a pleasant beer to drink whilst cooking dinner (beef chili)

A golden beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has fruitness, apricot, grain. Taste has fruitness, grapes, some dried fruit. Medium bodied. Something unique notes are there, maybe it's sake then. Pretty nice.
