The coast is clear, the moon is up, time to take a dip into this...A DIPA that balances out the dank and resinous with the tropical and pine. Heavy on the hops and made for straight sippin' and midnight dippin'.

Can. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Hop combo is a good one and delivers light pine and a little spice that goes well with light candy fruits. Soft melon and mild resinous bright citrus with an even lighter tropical fruits. Modest hop spice. This dipa doesn't throw heavy punches but what it does do is dazzle with it's complexity, more of a Sugar Ray Leonard puncher.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with thin white head that fades. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange peel, minerals and apricot. Flavour of peach and pine. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A delicious old school DIPA in the West Coast style. I wish Tempest brewed more DIPAs.

Can from Westhill SS. It pours lightly hazy orangey - gold with a foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy, tangerine, orange marmalade, peach, mango, um bungo, sticky, resinous and west coast dank. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, sticky, resinous, green and dank, green bitterness, spicy, underlying sweetness, pithy, zesty citrus action, tangerine, orange and a decent kick of booze to keep it in check. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Nice west coast DIPA vibes. Moreish.
