A powerful mix of multiple malts give this stout its intense black colour and heady aromas. Amazingly rich, upfront flavours give way to a mellow yet luscious finish, with bags of long lasting hop character. A beautiful beer to refresh your soul at the end of the day.

500ml bottle from Brecon Tap. Drunk at our cottage in Pontypool. Hazed dark appearance, tan head. Liquorice, roasted malt and dark chocolate presenting themselves in that order both on the nose and palate. Delightful stout from Raglan, Monmouthshire.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers' Arms, Bristol 21/10/2017. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Toast malts, some tangy, dark berry, fruits, touch of chocolate and leafy hops, before a dryish finish. An enjoyable stout.

Shared 500 ml bottle, bought in Cardiff. ABV is 4.9%. Very dark brown to back colour, moderate beige head. Nice roasty aroma and flavour, notes of coffee and liquorice, a straight-forward stout I could drink a lot of.
