Amber with a frothy, white head. Orange peel and fruit jam aroma. Taste is bittersweet with a herbal, peppery bitterness at the finish. Body to the full-side of medium, nice chewiness. A sort of pale ale bock if I had to describe it. A good one.

Dösla: Cloudy, golden with an orangey sheen, loose and rocky (off-) white head, moderate but distinctive bitter-sweet aroma of tropical fruits, a bit musty, cellary, herbal-flowery hops detectable and bready pale malt; moderate to solid bitter flavour, reduced sweetness, medium bodied, a bit fizzy, a bit adstringent; tart and lingering tropical-hoppy finish with a quite delicate residual malty sweetness. Disappointing, especially by franconian standards. Unharmonic, too much of everything...

0.44 l can from 'Craftbeer-Shop.com', best before February 2022. Hazy, orange with a massive, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, rather fruity-floral aroma of lemon peel, pineapple, some fresh grass and traces of passion fruit. Gently sweet, slightly malty, rather fruity-floral, moderately grassy taste of lemon peel, pineapple, some fresh grass, light grains and a touch of honey, followed by a short, quite bitter, gently grassy finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty, nicely fruity and refreshing beer, not really Bock-like though, rather an IPL.

440ml can. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, sweet-ish, malty and fruity hoppy aroma, hints of honey, yellow stone fruit, some citrus fruit, a minimally starchy touch. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty with a minimally starchy touch, tart-ish, slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, hints of quince, a diluted touch of grapefruit. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. Disharmonious, imbalanced - nope.

Blech.Brut May Queen Lilly, Dose von naïv, Frankfurt. - Goldbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase intensive, etwas harte exotisch zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, Pampelmuse, Marakuja. - Antrunk knackig zitrusfruchtig hopfenherb: bittere Grapefruit, Marakuja, Gras. (23.5.2021.)
