Brown with a thin, frothy beige head. Chocolate. Toasted grains. Apple?! Taste is toasted bitter with a mild tartness underneath. Body just reaches medium, moderate carbonation, could be chewier and smoother. Fairly simple in the end, but not unpleasant. Ok.

330 ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a thick, low, tan head. Fruity, roasty nose, chocolate, cafe au lait, berries. Lightly roasted, somewhat sweet, with chocolate and coffee. Rather thin body. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, minimally chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of cold coffee, malt lozenge, dark cocoa. Taste is roasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty, mildly bitter, minimally grassy, hoppy overtones, hints of dry, dark cocoa, dark chocolate, some (fruity) coffee, dark toffee, malt lozenge, very light metallic overtones. Minimally creamy, watery texture, indifferent palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly complex, balanced - geht doch!

10/12/2022. Bottle shared with ITFCDan. From Boris, cheers! Pours very dark brown almost black with a small frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa, liquorice, dried fruits, slight meaty edge. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Quite a well done porter that I appreciated more than most.

Bottle picked up from Liebick Getränke, Germering consumed at home Attenkirchen, Sunday 15th March 2020 on the first anniversary of us moving here. We're sat outside cooking Chicken cordon bleu bake, listening to Mac Demarco - This Ol'Dog. Pours brown, pretty good clarity. A little tangy dark fruits, not much sweetness, a touch nutty with caramel. It's ok.

Bottle. Dirty earthy roast aroma. Darkest brown, low brown head. Chocolate, dry spice, medium light sparkly body, relatively clean, a bit fizzy for a Porter, otherwise pleasant enough.

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark malt, bread, nuts, caramel. Taste of mild roasted malt, toffee, chocolate.

Dark brown with medium brown head. Aroma is cherry, a little coffe, dark malt, some dark toffe. Taste is heavy melasses, with too much sourness. Still pretty full bodied with a nice finish. Good.
