Gose-style ale with Syrah Grapes aged in Oak Foeders
This is a rosé - and a gose - by any other name. Goses are Red is a stylish funky, crisp and tart gose ale inspired by the soft sweetness of a rosé wine. The refreshing wheat-based ale begins with some of the qualities you’d expect from a gose, including coriander spicing and a light saltiness to complement the tartness imparted by our house cultures. But the story doesn’t end there - it builds in complexity, thanks to time spent in an oak foeder and the addition of grapes, which impart a refreshing character and color.

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 28/10/2018 at "Beerlinale", Barcelona (Spain). Clear amber, rossé wine, colour with almost no head. Aroma is soft currant, oak, vinous, light sour fruits and some sea salt. Taste is red berries, red wine, soft currant, light lacto and a light tart. Medium acidic and lacto finish with a red berries touch. Too light. Next one please!

Draught @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Pours clear deep golden with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light salt, little wood, tart fruit, grapes. Flavor is light sweet, light sour, malt, little salty, light oak, grapes. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, light tart finish. 290918

Bottle thanks to William. Pours rose gold with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is grape skin, wheat, floral, sea salt. Thin body, tart grape, berry, sea salt, light acidity, crisp finish, very good.
