North-South Divide is a punchy IPA fermented with Kveik yeast (pronounced K-VIKE). Originating in Norway, Kveik yeast gives undertones of funky pineapple.

To complement this we've put together a combination of our favourite hops, Galaxy, Sabro, Idaho 7 and Citra.

This results in a juicy IPA packed full of tropical fruit aromas, with hints of pine and light bitterness.

19th July 2021; Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, five of us splitting 16 different beers, t'was a good night! Thanks Mike for the 440ml can of this: BB 30th Jan 2022. Cloudy golden body, thin white crown. Fruity with pineapple leading the way aroma and flavour wise. Not too sure I felt any Kveik-ness in the brew.

440ml can @ Free-Dumb tasting, Chez Sophie, July 21. Hazy golden yellow appearance, small white head. Nice welcoming pillowy sweet saison-esque body with a distinctive kveik fruitiness with mild pineapple notes. Pretty good.

Can from Morrisons. Milky golden body with a white head that holds. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peanut shell and dried mango. Flavour of pineapple and salted grapefruit. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Zingy and bright.

Can. Morrison’s. Murked up deep orange, with a super dense, glossy topped, lasting, just off white foam. Looks really well. Nose has a pile of pineapple. Ripened citrus. Sweet and soggy yellow melon. Hint of pine resin. Taste is pretty sweet and ice cream like, with a decent ripe citrus bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Moderate bitterness to finish. Might have to get back to Morrison’s.
