Pale gold. No head. Nice leathery aroma, soft grape. Balanced and expressive. Tart, leathery, vinous, off-dry, some underlying sugar but not much. The grape notes are subtle but persistent, they really find a nice pocket here, very refined. Top loon.

75cl Bottle @ Cantillon. Pours hazy Golden orange with a White head. Juicy grapes. But suttle. Elegant. Tart and Woody bite with the grape pomade lingering. Quite drinkable.

2023 bottle (Blackhearts & Sparrows). Clear gold, a white head is very soon completely gone. Aroma of the flowering forest, the laundry, fruit and oak, but not obviously grapes. Nashi, green apples, fresh honeycomb. (Not sure if I've given a 10 for aroma before.) A fair bit of slippery body, low carbonation. Off dry, moderately sour, acidic, quite oaky. More obvious grapes in the taste but also both autumnal and early spring fruit and flowers. Sourness creeps up. A different thing again - a little like a noble rot wine but (obviously) lighter.

Bottle shared by rich. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sappy, musty, earthy, nutty, woody, leather, granny smith, lemon peel and floral accents. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, fresh, fragrant, sherbet, white grape, gooseberry, lemon - lime, spritzy, sherbet, dry restrained funk and orange blossom with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Soft, mellow and quaffable.

Very good, fast receding white head over crystal clear golden beer. Intense, yet delicate horseblanket aroma, with a leafy character, Lindenblossom, Lindentea, yellow yarrow, but not vinous. Rather sweet, beyond 'mals'. Very light lambic-y, but also fruity acidity. Again blossomy. Yet again - there's little ro no grape/vinous character. Some pineapple, certainly after some time. Only wine-marker is a certain viscosity, not unlike sweet dessert wine. Not very carbonated. Delicate, original, intruiging.
