Following our time-honoured family recipe from 1928, we have reinterpreted the original tried and tested, so called „Urtyp“ and created a new combination of an aromatic „Landbier-type“ and a refreshing „Bavarian Helles“. With hops from the Hallertau and barley from
the Straubinger „Gäuboden“ area.

500ml bottle at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur, as Schneider Helles. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty, light hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a somewhat light, crisp, earthy, dry yeasty, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Beautiful yellow gold colour with a large rocky white head. Aroma of biscuit and bread malts. Flavour is mostly the same with a little hops in the background. Crisp, clean, refreshing beer

Barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała.
W aromacie słodowe, lekko chlebowe, czysty profil.
W smaku słodowe, półwytrawne do półsłodkiego, słodowość w typie chlebowym z lekką kontrą chmielową.
Goryczka niska do średniej, wysycenie i ciało w normie, dobra pijalność i balans.
Przyzwoity helles. Na codzienne popijanie jak znalazł.

Bottle. Gold with a 2cm white head. Bready aroma with grass, some lemon, herbs. Briefly rich and a little sweet with modest but insistent grassy bitterness. No surprises.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours pale clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aromas of grassy hops and dough. Taste has lemon, sweet bread and more grassiness. Bitter finish.

Nagy, tartós hab, világos arany szín. Gabonás, malátás, enyhén fűszeres és egy picit virágos illat. Telt, malátás, kissé fűszeres, enyhén virágos íz, száraz lecsengés. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, visszafogottan kesernyés, kiváló egyensúj. Mintaszerű helles, maga a stílustanulmány.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Grainy malty aroma with some grassy noble hop. Notes of straw, cereal malts. Mild sweet and light bitter. Medium body. A bit sweeter than I like, but otherwise really good Lager.

Appearance - pale golden and clear with a foamy snow white head.
Nose - dough, grassy and light burnt toast note.
Taste - lemon, bread and an edge of caramel. Still some grassiness.
Palate - close to medium bodied, sweet middle and bitter finish.
Overall - pretty good example of the style.
