Beige wax seal, 2012 bottle share by AdamJackson. Thanks sucka! Pours with a dark mahogany body fast reseeding mocha head. The nose is chocolate, weak coffee with faint traces of vanilla and sweet bourbon.

Flavor has moderate roasted chocolate malts, dark brownie batter with traces of burnt sugar. Deep dark grain body. The back end of the sip has mellow bourbon vanilla, sweet caramel and light oak barrel. A faint trace of alcohol after the sip to give a light warming sensation as it goes down. Mouthfeel is very smooth texture but the body is medium leaning on thin. Overall, great flavors but is it worth the hefty price tag??

2012 Vintage. Not sure when or where I got this bottle. Split 3 ways with some "so-called" friends.

A - Pitch black pour, 1 finger head

S - Nose is great. Lots of sweetness, tootsie roll, charcoal and a slight tang.

T - Hmm. well, this is incredibly smooth. these guys do great stuff in barrels. oozing with chocolate, ashy fireplace and brick mortar (yes, I eat this every day). charcoal is pretty big time here. and cheese grown from ostrich eggs.

M - Fairly thin mouthfeel. Thin as a crisp hipster sunset in the eve of armageddon. Booze finish. actually, I should say, "summers eve" yeah

O - This is really good.

Sample from 65 cl. bottle. Pitch black with a thin, tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, peat, whiskey barrel, rich malts, coffee and chocolate. Taste is sweet. Full body with a creamy texture. Finishes sweet, with peat, coffee and a soft burn from alcohol. Very good.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a rim of brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, chocolate, and roasted malt, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.
