We’ve been talking about doing a cherry variant of our flagship beer for too long. THE TIME HAS COME FOR CHERRY BOMB! It’s the Bomb! you already know you love — packed with toasted Ancho chilies, Spaceship Earth coffee, cacao nibs, and vanilla — now with a blend of sweet and tart cherries!

Bottle. A- Booze, chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Chocolate, cherry, roasty, coffee. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Didn't realize I had this 2 years already. Lost a bit of complexity. Still a great beer and the cherry is a nice addition to the great base. No chilies though.

12 oz. Aroma has notes of Maraschino cherries, chocolate, roast, coffee, dark bread, caramel, vanilla. Pours inky black with no real head, just a collar of beige foam. Taste is bittersweet, like a dark chocolate covered cherry. The chilies are very unobtrusive, pretty much non-existent at first. About halfway through the bottle, a subtle pepper heat and flavor makes itself known. Nice velvety mouthfeel. Delicious.

Pretty solid cherry side game rendition. I mean it's nothing like the original but still a decent cherry fill in. It very good. Some cherry. Roast. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish with a touch of cherry tang. Bottle.

Bottle from somewhere, Tavour I think: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is cherry, chocolate, coffee, hint of spice. Taste is cherry and chocolate. Hot pepper is a touch at the end. Cherry is a nice touch. Not offensive. Boozy if you try to chug it.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, small brown head, decent residual. Aroma is cherry cordial, cocoa, cinnamon, hint of pepper. Flavor is mercifully medium sweet, light plus bitter. Minimal pepper heat. Really nice blend of flavors in what could have been a major shit show in the wrong hands. Full body.

Not a bad cherry stout, even if cherry stouts aren’t a style I’m particularly fond of. Notes of cherry cola, molasses, anise, dark chocolate, and roast, with a firm espresso middle and a lingering, deep bitterness on the finish. Cherry seems to dissipate any trace of chili heat, which is a bummer. Still good, even if it’s not a Bomb I’ll revisit.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight tan head. Aroma of smooth burnt malt with notes of coffee and cherry. Full bodied. Flavor is primarily cooking cherry, then burnt malt and a mix of coffee and chocolate. Not dry. Not much heat. Yet it is bitter for me. Excellent.

12 oz bottle. Almost black color with a medium sized dark tan head. Full bodied. Cherry and roasted malt aroma. Taste has cherry, chili pepper, and underneath coffee. Sweet malt finish.
